I was very impressed with Sandra Compton right from the beginning when I sort of casually mentioned that I would at some point soon want to list this property and that I'd like her to handle it.

She was never pushy but did immediately have suggestions for how it could best be handled. There were issues I needed to handle before we could list the house (there was a tenant in residence). Also there was a bonus room that needed a lot of work, Ed Compton was of enormous assistance with that, doing all of the work himself personally.

There were setbacks and delays along the way, with the buyers stubbornly not giving much in negotiations and then delaying the agreed upon closing date while they got things together on their end, but Sandra handled it all diplomatically and I believe with the best result that could be expected.

The effort she put in to learning about the property (83 acre plot), such as walking it twice, meeting with previous owners and local neighbors, etc., was critical in the marketing plan.
